Preventing Water Damage & Mold
September 28, 2013
Now is a good time to review buildings and perform preventative maintenance. Installing gutters and downspouts with extensions to disperse water away from building foundations and examining existing gutters and downspouts for fatigue and damage will allow time for replacement before weather conditions discourage exterior work. Once the trees are bare, gutters and downspouts should be inspected to be certain they are free and clear of leaves and debris before snow falls. Routine maintenance will help to prevent water damage and subsequent mold growth.
