We often receive calls for information on a variety of indoor environment challenges. The EPA posts information for several scenarios in its Home Helps publication. The Weather Channel website and OSHA also provide online information.
Elevated humidity, wet conditions, and poor ventilation as well as inadequate insulation can provide a hospitable environment for mold growth. It is advisable to review building conditions now, before winter’s arrival, to correct conditions that could lead to water damage and mold growth.
