Removing Mold & Stopping Its Growth One Portland Home/Business At A Time.
Stopping Further Growth
Molds can be found almost everywhere on the planet as long as moisture, organic substance, and oxygen are present. It is impossible to eliminate all mold spores in the indoor environment; however, excessive mold growth can be corrected. Mold remediation is the process we use to mitigate, or correct, damage to your property caused by microbial growth and contamination.
Full & Detail Inspection
Our mold remediation service typically begins with your request for an inspection of your home or business. We’ll schedule your appointment. The inspection will include a review of the property to establish possible causes for mold growth in the building; inadequate perimeter drainage and exhaust vents that duct into the building rather than to its exterior are common contributors to mold proliferation. Mold is not always immediately evident. We will examine the interior of the building from top to bottom to find mold growth.
Indoor Air Quality sampling, and testing by an independent laboratory, is a fundamental component of comprehensive mold remediation. We offer initial testing to identify which species of mold are present in the contamination. We respectfully request that our customers’ contract with a reputable, independent, environmental consulting firm when post-remediation testing is desired.
Mold Remediation/ Mold Removal / Mold Cleaning Proposal
If we determine mold remediation is necessary, we will provide you with a detailed proposal as well as our pricing. We approach our work in the most efficient manner possible for the circumstances. We frequently use dry ice blasting technology to remove mold from building materials. It is a clean, safe, thorough process. There are spaces where dry ice blasting equipment will not fit, for those areas we have a multi-step protocol for effective mold removal that will restore a safe, clean, environment.
We can help you control building conditions and restore the peace of mind that comes from having a safe environment in which to live and work.
